A banda Oasis ficou com os dois primeiros lugares numa pesquisa sobre o melhor álbum britânico dos últimos 50 anos, superando clássicos dos Beatles, Rolling Stones e Pink Floyd.

Os Beatles ficaram com cinco dos 50 primeiros lugares, com "Revolver", "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Rubber Soul", "Abbey Road" e "The White Album".

Já os Rolling Stones entraram na lista apenas com "Exile on Main Street" (48º) e "Let It Bleed" (50º).

"Dark Side of the Moon", dos Pink Floyd ficou em 9º na lista.
